Where Our Journey Began
Since 2022, the Greater Toronto Area has been the heart of NorthStar's journey. Together with families, volunteers, and community partners, we have delivered programs, camps, workshops, and events that empower neurodivergent children to build confidence, develop life skills, and explore new possibilities.
The progress we've seen inspires us to bring the NorthStar approach to more families across Canada and beyond.
Growing Together in Canada's Capital
NorthStar Ottawa has been serving families since 2024 and continues to grow through the active involvement of local families and the support of government and community partners. As our community expands, we look forward to offering more programs and opportunities that help neurodivergent individuals and their families connect, learn, and thrive.
Bringing the NorthStar Community to Western Canada
NorthStar Vancouver launched during National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) 2026, bringing our mission to families across Western Canada. We are excited to introduce NorthStar's inclusive programs and build a strong community where families can connect, learn, and grow together.
Building Bridges Across Borders
NorthStar Buffalo is currently in development through partnerships with the State University of New York at Buffalo and the local special needs community. Building on the successful programs developed in the GTA, we hope to foster collaboration between Canadian and American families, creating new opportunities to share knowledge, inspire innovation, and strengthen support for neurodivergent individuals on both sides of the border.
